HDD Planner
Integrated feasibility check for HDD drilling: bore profile, pull force and bending radius in one tool. Go/No-Go dashboard based on GW 321 + DIN EN 12889.

What is the HDD Planner?
The HDD Planner combines the three core HDD calculations in a single dashboard:
- Bore Profile & Pull Force (GW 321 + Euler-Eytelwein): Is the pipe strong enough?
- Bending Radius Check (DVS 2210 / W400-2): Are the radii permissible?
- SDR Suitability: Is the wall thickness suitable for HDD?
The Go/No-Go dashboard immediately shows whether the planned bore is feasible using traffic-light colors for each check.

Go/No-Go Criteria
| Check | Green | Yellow | Red |
|---|---|---|---|
| Pull force | Utilization ≤ 70% | 70-100% | > 100% |
| Bending radius | R/R_min ≥ 1.1 | 1.0-1.1 | < 1.0 |
| SDR | SDR ≤ 17 | SDR > 17 | - |

Calculation Basis
| Standard | Scope |
|---|---|
| Euler-Eytelwein / DIN EN 12889 | Estimated bore radii, 4-point profile, capstan force balance |
| DVGW GW 321 | Allowable pull force $F_{zul} = \frac{A \cdot \sigma}{S} \cdot f_t \cdot f_T \cdot f_b$ |
