Drinking water is our most valuable resource. OHM pipe systems set the technological benchmark for absolute purity and decades of operational safety. By using modern PE 100‑RC (Resistance to Crack) we significantly reduce the risk of slow crack growth (SCG).

Our systems are manufactured to DIN EN 12201 and carry the DVGW approval mark — providing engineers and municipalities with planning certainty. Compared to conventional materials, the OHM portfolio offers superior corrosion resistance and chemical neutrality, keeping water quality unchanged over a service life of more than 100 years.

Cost efficiency & installation methods

By using OHMtec RC 2S (multi‑layer RC pipe with a blue signal layer), civil works costs are reduced significantly, as expensive soil replacement can often be avoided. The system is optimized for:

• Sand‑bedding‑free installation: direct embedding in on‑site excavated material (soil classes 1–4).
• Trenchless methods: ideal for horizontal directional drilling (HDD), relining or ploughing thanks to extremely high notch toughness.
• Jointing technology: homogeneous welded joints via butt fusion (HS) or electrofusion (HM) for fully restrained connections.
